Sheila Bryson, Comedian
Uncle Steve: When your Father dies, we’re going to put a bottle of scotch on his grave.
Six-year-old Sheila Bryson: Don’t do that, he might come back.
A Canadian ex-pat who has called the U.S. "home" for the last seven years, Sheila Bryson has represented her motherland’s reputation for funny since before she could remember. Now, she’s trying to score free drinks for it.
A finalist in San Francisco Comedy College's Battle of the Bay 2009, Bryson brings a shamelessly personal, mostly intelligent and frequently blush-worthy point of view to the stage.
Drawing from her Canadian
background and an uncanny ability to see the absurd in the every day,
she invites audiences into her world with (sometimes too) open arms.
